Jorge Alejandro Delarbre López is a communications strategist with over 14 years building corporate reputation, managing crisis, and driving brand visibility across Latin America. His career spans agency and in-house roles, from leading communications for global multinationals to building entire communications functions from scratch in some of the region's most demanding environments.
At JeffreyGroup, one of Latin America's leading corporate communications agencies, he served as Director of Corporate Communications, providing senior counsel to accounts including Nestlé México, American Airlines, PepsiCo, Rappi, Aon, and ROADIS. Before that, he built his craft at LLYC, where he managed strategic communications for Walmart, Autlán, Carvajal, Marathon Petroleum, and Volvo Trucks across crisis, media, and stakeholder fronts.
His regional scope expanded significantly at vivo, where as Senior PR Manager for Latin America he led communications across Colombia, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and Chile — serving as official regional spokesperson and managing HQ alignment. During his tenure he led product launches and brand expansion efforts across the region, including vivo's entry into the Panama market.
He currently serves as Director of Communications at Tulum Country Club, where he built the communications infrastructure from the ground up: annual plan, competitive benchmark, spokesperson strategy, media relations infrastructure, and a governance model separating editorial, operational, and commercial content flows. He led communications for a major international golf tour event, generating pre-tournament media results that nearly tripled the prior year's full output — as a sole communications professional.
What sets his approach apart is the combination of Communication Sciences and Psychology — both from UNAM — plus a Maestría en Comunicación. That formation lets him read not just what a narrative says, but what it produces in audiences, decision-makers, and organizational culture.
